Heart Failure – Your Guide to Your Journey

SUMMARIES

In March 2023, Global Heart Hub launched the first ever global patient friendly document based on the clinical guidelines for people with Heart Failure and their caregivers – “Heart Failure – Your Guide to Your Journey”. We are introducing the short, one-page summaries based on the GHH Heart Failure friendly Guide.

Guide summaries present the key information from each section of the Guide. The total of 8 summaries presents the possibility to print the summaries and take them to the doctor’s visit easily, mark down the areas patients might need more clarification from their doctors or simply add your own notes. Friendly Guide summaries are created in a way for people with heart failure and their caregivers to have all key information anytime anywhere, where the main friendly Guide document is for those who seek in-depth information with examples and guidance.

Summaries can be found on the following topics of the main “Heart Failure – Your Guide to Your Journey” document:

  • What is Heart Failure?

  • How is Heart Failure diagnosed?
  • How is Heart Failure treated?
  • Treatment of Heart Failure with devices and surgeries
  • Hospital treatment of acute Heart Failure
