Driving Cardiovascular Action in Asia-Pacific
Patient Partnership and Collaborative Leadership
Across Asia-Pacific, people living with cardiovascular disease continue to navigate fragmented pathways of prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and long-term follow-up.
But there is also an opportunity to do things differently.
Global Heart Hub’s new report brings together insights from patient leaders and cardiovascular stakeholders across the region to identify shared challenges, highlight country-level priorities and set out a practical pathway towards stronger patient partnership and leadership.

Turn Insight into Action
The report is designed not only to describe the challenges facing cardiovascular care across Asia-Pacific, but to support action.
Use the report and roadmap to strengthen patient participation, shape policy discussions and advocate for more connected cardiovascular care.
About the Asia-Pacific Cardiovascular Roundtable
The report was developed following Global Heart Hub’s first Asia-Pacific Cardiovascular Roundtable, held in Bangkok, Thailand in February 2026.
Patient organisation leaders from across the region came together with clinicians, policymakers and other cardiovascular stakeholders to examine country-specific and cross-regional challenges and identify opportunities to strengthen cardiovascular care.
At the centre of the discussion was a simple principle:
“People living with cardiovascular disease should not only be consulted about the systems that affect them. They should help shape them.”
The insights from those discussions form the foundation of this report and the Patient Leadership Roadmap.
