Patient Networks
Global Heart Hub Patient Networks are comprised of representatives from Patient Organisation Affiliates with similar interests and aims, particularly in heart disease areas.
A Patient Network operates as a partnership of Affiliates supported by a dedicated Global Heart Hub Network Lead. Currently, GHH has established Patient Networks in Heart Failure, Heart Valve Disease, Cardiomyopathy, and Women and Heart. Patient organisation Affiliates in each Network mutually agree with the Network goals and priorities, propose projects, engage in ongoing work (including coordination and participation in regional and local capacity), and take part in capability building and advocacy activities.
Once a Patient Organisation affiliates with the Global Heart Hub, it has the option to join a Patient Network(s) or Project(s).
