Women’s Heart Health Action Agenda

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death among women – yet women continue to experience late, missed and misdiagnosis of heart disease – often compounded by fragmented care.

Women’s cardiovascular health can be transformed, but only through coordinated, system-level action. Global Heart Hub’s Women’s Heart Health Action Agenda brings policy, systems, education, research and public awareness into a single, coherent structure for change.

Five Core Areas for Change

The Women’s Heart Health Action Agenda is structured around five core areas for change. Together, these areas provide a coherent and actionable pathway
to improve outcomes for women globally.

About Global Heart Hub’s Women’s Heart Health Action Agenda

The Women’s Heart Health Action Agenda was developed through a rigorous, inclusive and transparent co-creation process, shaped by lived experience and clinical expertise.

The Women’s Heart Health Action Agenda brings together the strongest insights and solutions generated through a global co-creation process at Global Heart Hub’s 5th Unite Annual Summit. From 2–4 November 2025, 200 patient community leaders, clinicians, researchers and policymakers from 37 countries came together in Dublin to define what must change and how.
